St. Augustine was selected by the Federal Foreign Office of Germany as the Nicaraguan candidate to partake in its “Schools: Partners for the Future” (PASCH) initiative.  As the Nicaraguan partner, St. Augustine offers German language classes to students from grade 8^th on. Through the program students are also eligible for scholarships for a summer German language and culture immersion program and university studies in Germany.  For the past three summers, students from St. Augustine have traveled to different parts of Germany as part of this program.
