Student Clubs

St. Augustine provides a variety of extracurricular activities that promote the holistic development of our students.

The Sports Program is certainly our most popular after-school activity with over 50% of the student body participating in a team sport.  The St. Augustine Dolphins are represented by eight different soccer teams and three basketball teams. Chess is also a very popular sport and our students have strongly represented the school in several chess tournaments.

Other extra-curricular activities include guitar classes, dance classes, book clubs, photography class, prayer groups for elementary school students (Friends of Jesus and Mary) and Prayer & Service groups for Middle and High School students. Middle and High School students can also participate in Student Government.

Most students in grades six to twelve are involved in service clubs. Operation Smile, Students Helping Students, Un Techo para mi País, Pencils of Promise and a Volunteer Saturday English Program all provide our students with the opportunity to serve and learn from others.

A select group of students is given the opportunity to represent the school internationally by participating in AASCA (Association of American Schools of Central America) events throughout the Central American region. Our school has participated in Leadership Conferences, Knowledge Bowl Tournaments. 2012 marked the first year the school sent sports teams to participate in regional tournaments.
